A GEORGE III SECRETAIRE TALLBOY CHEST ON CHEST
A very fine George III mahogany secretaire tallboy. Figured and crossbanded, fully fitted secretaire drawer galleried with short inner drawers, two secret vertical draws and pigeon hole divisions, the whole on bracket feet. Swan necked handles and matching key escutcheon inserts. There are very minor chips to the inlays. The locks all work, there are separate keys to the top drawers, bottom draws and secretaire door. Three handles show very slightly different indent roundels although are believed original. Circa 1785.
