A GEORGE III CHIPPENDALE DESIGN WINGED ARMCHAIR

A very very comfortable and generously proportioned George III Chippendale design winged armchair, clothed in Zoffany “trellis” velvet fabric giving it a deliciously opulent presence of immense usability. Very solid construction with good colour and patina to its legs, the condition of which are commensurate to its age. Very much in the manner of Hindley & Sons. Marlborough legs to front, sabre to the back. Fringed braiding to base of seat.
