An early 18th century oak chest on a stand with turned baluster legs and stretchers. Two over three drawers, the drawer fronts decorated with moulded panels. A country piece, with its design remaining close to the fashion of the late 17th century. Original waxed patina with a deep, glowing colour. Circa 1730
